There are various ways an employer may breach an employee's contract of employment and, depending on the seriousness of the breach, an employee may be able to resign and claim constructive unfair dismissal.
An employer may also be in breach of contract if either the statutory minimum or contractual notice is not given. This would result in a claim of wrongful dismissal.
