"Profiting from Greener Business"

Date - Thursday 5 July 2007
Venue - The University of York

This year, Denison Till has teamed up with the University of York to present a one-day environmental conference. Yorkshire has committed itself to embracing best practice in sustainable development, but have all companies, businesses and other organisations within the region done the same? And, do they know how to?

Explaining the business case and economic necessity for developing a coherent sustainability strategy is what Profiting from Greener Business is all about. This event at the University of York on 5th July is targeted at businesses, companies and organisations across the region. A combination of presentations, interactive workshops, case studies and hands on exhibition stalls will present solutions in an environmental context.

Polar Explorer and BAFTA nominated BBC presenter Paul Rose starts a programme that includes speakers from Yorkshire Forward, Yorwaste and Andrew Lindsay, Denison Till on “Current Environmental Law issues” (download Andrew's talk here), along with other regional businesses and support organisations.

As you will know from previous Denison Till environment conferences, we have a special interest in highlighting the issues affecting businesses and the environment, and we believe this year’s programme does the same. Download Denison Till's environmental law expertise
